Date # 13: Pizza Hut Bistro Oasis

I’ve been on the lookout for the best “first date” place to recommend, and I think I’ve found it. When it comes to first dates, it’s best to go to restaurants which have earned a stable reputation from all over the world, because you cant go wrong with their tried and tested menu. Even if you’re not yet familiar with your partner’s preferences, if you choose something like Pizza Hut, I’m sure it’ll be good.
Pizza Hut Bistro Oasis is the BEST Pizza Hut franchise in town because it’s set in a beautiful garden with luscious greens. It’s a dreamy, wonderful, al fresco dining venue. Be sure to check the weather, though, because it’s an open garden in the middle of Gateway mall. Don’t be alarmed if it’s sunny, they have tents on most tables (and ventilators all around). Just pray it won’t rain.

On to the food. We ordered a Viva Milano (Medium) (P319) to share. We were both satisfied with it, although I had expected the pizza sauce to stand out more, and for the crust to be thinner since it’s supposed to be an “Italian-style” pizza (it’s not). Serving is just right for two people.
We wanted a light dessert and so we ordered Diplicious (P99). We both agreed that the sauce was rich and tasty. However, we wished there were more slices of mangoes. We also wished they gave us longer sticks for the fondue and not toothpicks.
Our other dessert was the Bread Pudding (P79) with Caramel sauce. Good value for P79. Pudding was a bit crunchy outside and soft on the inside. Good for sharing, too.
The Verdict: We don’t really need to comment on the food since I’m sure you all know about it already. But as for the ambiance… just look at the pictures. It’s perfect.
