How I Spent P150 Wisely at Yummy Eats 2012

Last May 26, I went to Yummy Eats 2012, an eating and cooking fair organized by Yummy Magazine. For only P150, I was able to sample food from about fifty fantastic concessionaires. Some of them specialized in savory goods, while others specialized in desserts and drinks.
I went with Ruds and his friends. We had lots of fun trying out the offerings. He’s such a fun and charming guy, I hope we see each other again soon.
I got a little bit lazy to take pictures halfway through the event because all I wanted to do in the end was to eat and enjoy. :P
My favorites from all the choices were: Chuck’s Grub, Pepita’s Lechon, Wabi-Sabi Noodle House, Eat My GF, Mochiko and Margarita’s Paella.

I watched a cooking demonstration by Chef Aileen. She showed us how to use different Century Tuna products in various ways. Her dishes included: Century Bangus with Creamy Saffron Gratin, Century Tuna Burrito, and Longganisa Spaghetti.
During the afternoon, there was also a Hunt’s Mother and Child Cook-Off Event.

Some of the participating food businesses.

You can’t go wrong with some Crunchy Belly. :)

I will always love Mochiko.

Cupcakes galore! These ones are from Cupcake Boutique.

They also invited Pino Restobar over.

These pastries from Classic Confections were really cute and eye-catching.

I hope to try these again soon.

I brought home some paella with me. This was incredible.

Thank you,Yummy! We truly enjoyed this year’s Yummy Eats. It was well worth every peso we spent.
